Simplicity + Style + Soul

Spring Vibes and CERAVE Skincare

Every day we are one step closer to Summer. We're getting close!
I'm beyond excited to ditch the snow boots and finally see my neck for a change! (I wear a lot of turtlenecks) lol!
With Spring weather here for good, I decided I would share my current skincare regime that I've recently put into rotation and absolutely love.

As the weather changes, I highly recommend you change up your make up and skincare habits. For some, this might be changing your winter weather, buttery creams for lightweight and barely there lotions.
About a month ago, my skin completely freaked out and I couldn't seem to get a handle of it. I went back to my old staples hoping it would calm down. After speaking with a close friend, she recommended that I check out Cerave. She'd been using it for years, so I decided to venture to my closest drugstore and do some investigating.

Cerave was created with dermatologists, who developed an enriched blend of 3 essential Ceramides.
This includes fatty acids, and lipids to help repair and strengthen the skin’s natural barrier.
What drew me more to try the products is the MVE technology (Multivesicular), which releases moisturizing ingredients over the course of 24 hours, to help keep skin soft all day long.

I cannot tell you how much I love both formulas!
The perfect power duo from day to night care. They're lightweight, non-greasy, fragrance free and suitable for sensitive/acne prone skins.

The AM lotion with SPF 30 is perfect to wear under make up as a primer. This will not break up your foundation or concealer at all. I barely have to powder/touch up throughout the day, which makes life so easy. Also, with an SPF of 30, you are totally covered in the sun protection department which doesn't leave a white cast and blends in seamlessly.
I'm really happy that I've finally found a daily sunscreen that doesn't dry or break me out.
I'll be for sure packing this gem for my Long Weekend trip to Mexico;)

For night, the PM lotion is like a drink of water for the face and is great layered on top of a serum or eye cream.
I highly recommend the Cerave lineup is you have hyper sensitive skin, eczema and psoriasis. There's so many options for your skins needs. It's also super affordable and can be found at your local drugstore.

I hope you've been enjoying the sunshine and don't forget your shades and SPF:)

Rachelle xo
